Christopher Noto Interiors designs private residential interiors from studios in Paris and New York.
Christopher Noto began in Singapore, in furniture. For many years he worked beside the late Jaya Ibrahim, first as one of his principal suppliers and in time as a collaborator; much of the furniture for hotels such as the Setai in Miami was drawn between the two of them. The interiors were Jaya’s. The furniture was a conversation.
From those years came an interiors practice of his own, in Asia, New York and France. Recent projects include an apartment at the Palais-Royal, a residence at Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, a house in Westport, Connecticut, and the ongoing restoration of Château Fontaine-l’Abbé in Normandy. Furniture, lighting and objects are made through Noto Atelier.
